It's framed behind glass but it looks like wood. Each blanket it 17 1/2 inch wide and 23 inches height. It matches and it may have been one piece.

This is a 2-piece framed later 20th century textile art landscape that was woven on a loom using a warp and weft. The material used is wool yarn in natural cream and dyed blues and and shades of brown. This is not an American Indian horse saddle blanket. There is also no indication that this was produced by a member of the Navajo Tribe nor even an American Indian. Although inspired by traditional weaving, this is a decorative wall art diptych that depicts a mountain with lake landscape; when put side by side, the image is a larger continuous landscape depiction. These were likely produced seperately on a loom; not made in one continuous piece and 'cut' in half. The estimate is for the pair together and is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
