My grandfather purchased this watercolor painting of a street view of a golden mosque while living in Iran from 1954-1960. It is in excellent condition.

Hi Taji,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I can make out "Arthur S" easily enough in this signature but the lower line (other than the 1954 date) is hard to read - what does it look like to you?
Thanks,
Delia

Hi Taji,
I don't know if you saw my earlier message on this - if you can give me any clues to the signature, that might help me identify the artist; otherwise, I'll appraise it as an unattributed painting.
Thanks to confirm,
Delia
