What does this mean?

Indeed a Haribako sewing box Meji period I think late 19th century. Nice extra application is the Pin Cushion what you do not see often. A simple straight forward household Utility for daily use. No decorative purpose intended. I believe there is a market for this kind of small 'furniture' although it can be a small challenge to find a good customer who is willing to pay the estimated price. Because its a funny small thing I would recommend an online auction house like Ebay or Catawiki or a local auction house with a prescription on Invaluable / Lottissimo to get the right attention and therefor a good buyer.
