Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. The appear to be a pair of Renjishi dolls, depicting father and son Kabuki actors in the roles of shishi parent and cub. The dance was first performed in 1861 and has been very popular since. The dolls in your possession were made in the second half of the 20th century. Similar is offered at auction on a regular basis and would be a typical Japan travel souvenir. The estimate is based on similar items sold at auction. As always "asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
