Japanese pair of wood block prints
16 inches by 11 signed Saito . Second one is same artist 12 inches by 16 . On the back of one is a note from the original owner. That said “these are valuable woodblocks prints by Saito. I went and met him in Japan and he signed them on the front for me.”

The presented object appears to be a woodblock print on paper with the measurements of 11 x 16 inches. The title of this print is "Village of Mito" and sho a rural Japanese village. It was made and signed by the Japanese artist Kiyoshi SAITO (1907-1997).
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 250 to 500 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
