Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The items presented appear to be aquatints with chine collé by John McLean (British; 1939 - 2019) titled "Vault" and "Dawn," dated 2001. Both prints appear to be signed and editioned by the artist to the lower margin. McLean was a painter, printmaker and sculptor best known for his abstract compositions in bright expressive colors. Often times, McLeans's prints include a blind stamp indicating which print shop the prints were produced at. He was known to create limited edition runs, not exceeding 50 impressions of a single image.

The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of these images and other similar works by McLean. Please note that asking or retail prices vary.
