Leather bound 15 volume set. Set 3 of 1000 total published sets. Only binding that is broken is volume 1.
Acquired from my great grandparents
This is an early 20th century complete 15-volume book set of The Works of Jules Verne edited by Charles F. Horne that was printed in 1911 in a limited edition of 600 copies and published by Vincent Parke and Company of New York and London. 1911. They are in green covers and referred to as the Edition d'Amiens, Of the limited 600 copies this set is Number 3 and signed by hand by R.G. Lancaster, registrar. The low number does not impact value. The estimate is for the complete set altogether.
I cannot find a publishing year but there is a date on the illustration in the first volume . I’ve attached 3 more photos, including publisher
Thank you
Who was the publisher and when was the printing year?
