She is known for having painted Long Island scenes but, as you imply, it's not conclusive; I assumed there may have been some reason you said that.
If you're more comfortable with my saying more simply "Landscape with House" I'm happy to make that change.
Hi, there is two small holes in the painting,will that affect the value?
I got this painting from a relative of Julia Kelly and they confirmed it was from a house on great neck Long Island
Thanks for letting me know. The small holes DO affect the value a little but not too much. I've amended, and added that this was acquired from the family of the artist so there's no question as to the subject.
How can we tell if it was from Long Island New York beside me telling you that?
