This appears feels and looks like to be a watercolor paint on newsprint. The item is signed Keith Haring. It has been sitting in a tube since 2002 when I acquired it on an online auction. Here is the link to high resolution images of this item. I’ve also included uploaded pictures here https://www.dropbox.com/transfer/AAAAADxlxBTFe_cWmyH3M_5OveCaCMWkUjmIbVWNoRI6TCgPYJP02t4

Hello Ned,
Thank you very much for submitting your item for an online appraisal.
The presented object appears to be watercolor (?) on newsprint depiction of a black and white figure on all fours, surrounded by an abstract red border. It measures approximately 40 x 20 inches and is signed "K. Haring" in reference to Keith Haring (American, 1958-1990).
Unfortunately, I do not believe that the artwork is an authentic work that can be attributed to Keith Haring. The proportions of the figure are poorly executed and the overall style is not consistent with this artist's oeuvre. The use of the instantly recognizable "radiant baby" motif is a common practice employed by forgers, and the inclusion of a signature indicates the intention to deceive, so your painting unfortunately does not have any market value.
I understand that this is probably disappointing news. If you disagree with my assessment and would like our authentication research team to take a closer look at your item, you may contact them directly by email at [email protected]. We offer resources for more in-depth research than what I'm able to provide within the scope of this online appraisal.
Thank you again for your submission and I hope that you have a nice day!
Kind regards,
Anne
