10x14 print in great condition with minor soiling. Colors hold up as the print has been in a paper sleeve protected from light, but are still faded some when compared to an original. Paper seems to be watercolor texture with a slight tooth.
Acquired from local antique shop. Was sent from Japan to the U.S. In japan, it came from the Urban River Research Division of the Public Works Research Institute, and was shipped to a "Mr, and Mrs, Jim Sartoris and Georgia" in Evergreen Colorado.

The image depicts Unryū Kyūkichi (Japanese: 雲龍 久吉, 1822 - 1890) and the original impression dates to the 1860s. The text on the verso appears blurred but the print is likely from a promotional folio detailing the sumo wrestler's stats. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this work and other comparable object reproduction prints after sump prints by Toyokuni III.
