Large Crustacean Period Fossil
01 June 2025
Description

The fossil is approximately the size of a softball or larger and is very heavy. It is made up of quartz crystal and grey matter (stone). The texture is that of rhinoceros skin. I had it looked at by someone at a museum in Lawrenceburg, TN because to me it looks like a dinosaur toe and claw but I was told that it was from a coral that is just as rare.

Dimensions

A little larger than a softball.
