This is an exceptionally rare and historically significant item. LEGO Certified Professional (LCP) custom set, which was not sold in retail stores but produced as a high-end corporate gift. Here are the specific details of the set: Product Overview • Official Name: Al Shaheen Field – Offshore Qatar / A-Location • Piece Count: 2,180 pieces • Manufacturer: Produced by Bright Bricks (a UK-based company led by a LEGO Certified Professional) for Maersk Oil and Qatar Petroleum. • Scale: Micro-scale, representing the "A-Location" section of the Al Shaheen oil field. • Features: It includes detailed builds of the Process platform (AA), Wellhead platform (AB), Flare platform (AC), Accommodation platform (AD), and Utility platform (AF). ________________________________________ Historical Significance This set was commissioned to celebrate 20 years of oil production (1994–2014) at the Al Shaheen field. • The Context: At the time, Maersk Oil operated the field in partnership with Qatar Petroleum. This set was likely gifted to senior executives, government officials, or long-term partners in Qatar. • The Rarity: Because it is an "LCP" set, it uses genuine LEGO bricks but is not a standard "LEGO Group" release. These where produced in extremely limited runs ( few hundred units) and are highly sought after by collectors of "Maersk" LEGO and industrial-themed sets. • Transition: In 2017, Maersk Oil’s role in Al Shaheen ended, and the field is now operated by North Oil Company (a joint venture between QatarEnergy and TotalEnergies). This makes the Maersk-branded box a "time capsule" of Qatar's energy history. ________________________________________ Note: The set is still sealed, not opened , with original instruction manual. Size of the Box: L: 40.5cm X H:28.5cm X W:8.5cm

Hi Prakash,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Whereas LEGO Group releases are official retail products designed by in-house LEGO designers and both mass-produced and globally distributed, LEGO Certified Professional (LCP) custom sets are designed by independent builders recognized by LEGO.
Commissioned in 2014 for the 20th anniversary of the Al Shaheen field, this would have been specially made for employees, shareholders and energy executives. I've found one questionable and unverifiable source that notes 250 versions of this set were made.
While I can't find another one from this set to have been sold at public auction (which is what Mearto bases our valuations on) but other Bright Bricks limited edition LCP corporate kits that HAVE sold at auction have brought prices ranging from $500 to $1,500; if this set came up for auction, a diligent auctioneer would probably place the pre-sale estimate in the $800-1,200 range, market it aggressively and let it find its level at market. This compares to other LCP Bright Bricks custom sets that may be listed on eBay for $2,000 or more.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.
