Hi Francisco,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
What a fun pair of sunglasses! I'm not having luck finding out when these were made but the classic Wayfarer silhouette, in wood, with the leather case, initially suggested a second-half 20th Century date of manufacture but research on Shwood indicates Shwood was founded in 2009 in the Portland (OR) metro area by five co‑founders: Eric Singer, Ryan Kirkpatrick, Daniel Genco, Taylor Murray, and Philip Peterson. They began with an eyeglass prototype whittled from a madrone tree, with repurposed hinges and thrift‑store lenses—an homage to sustainable creativity. The company is now known for producing a range of eyewear styles—from wood to stone, acetate, titanium, and more experimental materials like newspaper veneer, feathers, and even baseball bat wood.
Other wooden sunglasses/eyeglasses by Shwood have retailed for between $800 and $1,200 but for such a limited production run, I would not be surprised to find any of the remaining 9 pairs to retail for between $3,000 and $5,000; this translates to a fair-market price of $2,500-3,500.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
