Found rolled up for 40 yrs. A pilot stationed in Japan in 1977 gave it to me.

Hello,
This artwork appears to be a limited-edition lithograph, numbered and signed by the artist. The numbering “34/70” indicates that this is the 34th print in an edition of 70. The signature and date suggest that it was created in 1977.
Analysis:
1. Medium and Style: The piece appears to be a lithograph, characterized by its detailed lines and tonal quality. The subject matter—a serene female figure with intricate hair and floral elements—suggests influences of East Asian art, particularly Japanese aesthetics, with a contemporary interpretation.
2. Condition: Based on the image, the lithograph appears to be in good condition, though closer inspection would be needed to confirm the absence of creases, discoloration, or damage to the print surface.
3. Provenance and Historical Context: Acquired from a pilot stationed in Japan in 1977, the piece may reflect the cultural exchange and artistic appreciation during that period. Such provenance adds a narrative layer to the artwork, potentially increasing its sentimental and historical value.
Am I to conclude there is no market for the above lithographs as a pair? I would be very interested in selling both as a set.
Hello, unfortunately not that many. You could try to sell it through Mearto. I recommend you contact Mearto online services for further information.
Have a great day!
I do thank you but due to the subject matter I am uncomfortable putting it on line in any format. Such a controversial Lithograph dated and signed in 1974 from the far East (I have the pilot's passport. It could be Chinese, Korean, or Japanese.) It must value to someone, just not me. I do not even keep them in my home.
I have a second lithograph of same size by the same artist dated 1974. It is a forest scene of a woman and what appears to be a Reptilian being. Is there any demand for "Alien Art" dated from that time.
