Lou Reed (1942–2013) was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist best known as the founder and principal songwriter of The Velvet Underground, and later for a groundbreaking solo career. He is considered one of the most influential figures in modern rock music.

This photo appears to be from the Atlanta Music Midtown Festival in June 2005, at a time when he was in a steady late-career touring period rather than a specific landmark concert. At the time, he was performing a mix of Velvet Underground classics, solo staples like “Walk on the Wild Side”, material from later albums such as Ecstasy (2000) and songs featured in his live release Animal Serenade (2003).

Other signed photos from that concert - with third-party authentication and are in good condition - have sold at auction in the $150-300 range. Dealers selling these usually price them a bit more, around $450.
