Marble Sculpture
(2) Marble sculptures shipped from Viet Nam over 10 years ago. Very intricate details - have pics. Is some kind of birds - no chips. Approx weight of each is at least 350 to 400 pounds. Both are approx 60" tall and 25" wide.
Got them at moving sale. Customer's father had them shipped in from Viet Nam as a house warming gift at least 10 years ago.

Thank you for your request. The presented objects are two big dimensioned sculptures with measurements of approx 60" tall and 25" wide. Both sculptures depict two fighting birds and are made as a pair, for example, for an representative entrance or portal situation. The sculptures were made out of calcite or marble like a stone in Asia in the last third of the 20th century.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
A base auction estimation would be between 4000 to 8000 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
