Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a cute teddybear.
Teddybears have been very popular since the late 1800s as childrens toys. They are still made today and are still very popular. The teddybears that attract a lot of attention and sell for very high prices at auction are from the late 1800s or early 1900s. Your teddy bear is not quite old enough to be considered an antique or to attract the attention of teddybear collectors. My guess is that it is around 20 years old. It is a lovely bear however without any antique value as such, if you were to sell it the estimate would be around 20-30us$.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the teddybear has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the teddybear. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
Thank you
