There are no markings to indicate who made the item. It comes from a late 1970s retreat center in Minnesota. It is tin and appears handmade as the cutouts are not exactly the same.

Hi Carla,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
This has a very retro vibe - I'm thinking 1960s or 1970s. There wee a couple of lamp makers working in similar styles at the time: Tom Greene / Monteverdi-Young (California, 1960s–70s): Famous for Brutalist torch-cut lamps, but his are usually copper or bronze with more jagged edges. Feldman Lighting (Los Angeles, mid-20th c.) produced pierced brass and Moroccan-style hanging lamps similar to this.
At auction, this would likely sell well with an estimate of $200-300.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Brutalist Midcentury Modern cut tin chandelier
unattributed maker, circa 1960s-70s
Of circular section with flaring looped collar, the domed body formed by 8 pierced triangular panels with rounded rims. Unsigned.
13 inches high by 18 inches diameter
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: From a late 1970s retreat center in Minnesota
$ 200-300*
