What does this mean?

Hello Michel,

Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. I apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times. The item presented appears to be a Thangka style tapestry. The work may be painting with mineral paints or printed. The image appears to depicts Yamantaka, who is know to be the "Conqueror of Death." You can read more about the deity in the provided Wikipedia link here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamantaka
The work appears to be inscribed to the verso. However, we are unable to translate the script. Based on recent auction records and estimates of similar Thangka paintings, this work may receive an auction estimate range of $1,000 - 1,500, depending on size and condition. Thank you again and I hope you have a warm holiday. Stay safe.

Hello Sara,

Many thanks for this appraisal, I am wondering if you could give me an idea on the time period/age.

Also, there is another one appraisal paid for a Large Bhuda Thanga, however, this has not been appraised yet, please let me know when it might be ready and also here, I would appreciate a narrative as well as time period.

Be well,
