This is a 1950 copy of Webster's New International Dictionary of the English Language Second Edition, Unabridged. There is a niche market for vintage dictionaries, and they can be a hard sell on today's market. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
