Small coffee pot made from brass and copper. Engraving around upper mouth and on cover. A stamp can be seen on one side of the pot. Overall in good condition.
9.5 inches high and about 9 inches wide, handle to end of spout.
My family lived in Tripoli, Libya during the 1960’s and early 70’s. This was purchased there during this time period.

This form of pot, with its exaggerated spout, is characteristic of many pots made for the export (tourist) trade in the Middle East, from the 19th-20th century; the patina may or may not be old but might be "antiqued" to give an impression of age.

A probably vintage Middle Eastern export brass and copper Dallah (coffee pot)
mid 20th Century
Of circular section with hinged cover with finial, curving spout, vasiform body impressed with an Arabic cypher in a pointed-oval medallion, with a single loop handle.
