This remarkable teddy bear was a birthday gift to the gentleman for whom I am doing this. Sean, who was born in Kensington, London, England, has had it since his birth in 1963. As Sean now calls his teddy bear, Charlotte was named after his mother, who gifted this remarkable toy to him. As you may see from the photos unloaded. Charlotte is in remarkable condition. But Sean would love to know more about the teddy's history if possible.

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I don't *see* any markings on this bear but wanted to double-check that this bear isn't marked or labeled anywhere by the maker. Does it have a button in its ear?
Also...can you tell me a little more about the materials it's made of? Is it felt? short mohair?
Thanks to confirm, at your convenience,
Delia
