What does this mean?

This is a vintage, 3rd quarter 20th century original painting on canvas depicting homesteads along a road in what is stylized as a fall or autumn palette landscape that is signed "Mourier" at the top left corner. The framed is hand carved wood and typical of frames that were exported from Mexico and used on works in the 3rd quarter of the 20th century. Checking against all known listed artists with the last name Mourier, there is not a style nor signature match. This was done by an unlisted artist and likely sold through furniture, decorator shops or starving artist shows. This is intended more as decorative wall art than fine art for investment purposes. The value would also depend on the size.
