I researched this a while ago and I think the artist was born in Europe but lived and painted in Israel. I think he's still alive. As far as I can tell, the lithograph is in excellent condition. It's been on the wall of this condo for 20 years and before that, in my aunt's home. She and her husband bought a lot of art in Israel in the 1970s through the 1990s. When she died, that picture went to my mother (her sister). When my mother moved to assisted living two years ago, she didn't want this lithograph. My siblings also didn't want it. It's not my style, so I'd rather someone have it who can appreciate it.
In the frame, it's approximately 41 inches in width and 39 inches in height.
Hello, this item is a signed and numbered limited-edition color lithograph or serigraph depicting a group of musicians with a large blue bird or peacock-like figure, executed in a whimsical modern style associated with late 20th-century Israeli and European-Israeli decorative printmaking. The work is numbered 192/320 and signed in pencil along the lower margin, though the artist’s name is not clear enough from the photographs to confirm with certainty. The subject, saturated colors, theatrical figures, musical instruments, and playful composition place it within the accessible modern decorative print market, rather than the market for a unique painting or a major museum-level graphic work.
The piece appears to be in good framed condition, with no major visible fading, staining, tears, or paper losses from the photographs, though it has not been examined outside the frame. The large framed scale, strong color, musical subject, and signed limited-edition format give it good decorative appeal, especially for buyers interested in Judaica, Israeli art, music-themed interiors, or contemporary figural prints. Without a confirmed artist attribution, the value remains moderate, but the image is visually strong and more desirable than a generic unsigned reproduction. Based on the photographs, size, condition, edition number, and current secondary market demand, the fair market value is $200 to $450 USD.
