Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a landscape painting by Werner PHILIPP (1897-1982), depicting a desert in bloom. His brushstroke is very fluent and captures the atmosphere of a desert after rain very well. The simple wooden frame shows some tiny holes, imitating woodworm. A feature which was popular in the 1970s when an "antique" look was in demand. The estimate is based on auction results for similars.
