I have the Teapot, Creamer and Sugar, all in like new condition.
My sister gave it to me. History unknown. Beautiful.
Dear Ann,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. Your tea set by Noritake is still an active pattern and was introduced by the company in 1989. Looking at the photos that you provided, they would be considered to be in good condition. The design was inspired by the Imperial Style during the era of Napoleon I in the early 19th century. In 1904, the forerunner of the Noritake Company was established by the Morimoto brothers in the village of Noritake, a small suburb near Nagoya, Japan. The goal of this first factory was to create western style dinnerware for export. Based on recent price realization, a fair market value estimate for your tea set would be between 300 and 500 US dollars.
Best Regards,
Morgan
Hi Ann,
There is a consign button on the Mearto main page, you might want to start there.
Morgan, I see you went to the Noritake site. All three peices new would be over $1200. If I sell the tea set you really think I could only get $300 - $500. And where should I list this for sale since its such a vintage item.
