Hi Maryann,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Norman Rockwell's "Travelling Salesman" (also known as The Expert Salesman)" appeared as the cover illustration for The Saturday Evening Post on April 2, 1921. Originally (and typically) rendered in oil on canvas, was not only a whimsical depiction of the "salesman who could sell a refrigerator to Eskimos" and a reflection of early 20th-century American life but it was one of Rockwell’s earlier Post covers, so it holds historical significance in his career arc.
When these limited edition lithographs come to auction, those in good condition usually sell for between $100 and $125 but yours has some blistering that brings the value to $50-75.
