I had been buying and exchanging Paintings from individuals for many years. With one of these, a local African, with whom I had purchaced/traded Artworks by various Artists, offered to me a number of works which he claimed were by Ronald Brooks Kitaj, this was in 2013. Some copy documentation was provided, which show that my Supplier purchased the Works from the son of a Late African Physician who had inherited the works. The late father he said was an Art Collector, who would exchange Paintings with an American Art Collector. There is a "Sales Contract for Asset Exchange", dated 15 December 2010, The U.S.A. party being named as one Vivian Johnson, date of birth 23 April 1949. Copies of the Late Fathers Police certified Death Certicate and the sons Police certified Identity Document were provided. I cannot vouch for the authenticity of any of these documents.
