This painting was done by Edward Kozak in 1946 - at a refugee camp -where he and I as a child - were refugees. The background are Alms - mountains - it was a chain of mountains called Watzman - in town Berchtesgaden, Austria. Edward Kozak then emigrated to Detroit, USA - and became famous in USA, Europe and Canada. Beside this type of classic art - he also did cartoon drawings and paintings.
We are the original owners - since we purchased the painting from the artist.
