print was approximately 700mm-330mm boarder approx 60mm but they are behind glass with a old hard wood frame it has a copper plaque saying colosseum and bottom right corner made in usa but cant see the rest without removing it, the boarder appears to be woven leather

This appears to be a pair of collotype prints after photographs, showing the Coliseum and the Forum Romanum in Rome, within a quarter sawn oak and ebonised oak frame. The medullary rays with in the wood structure might appear as a different material, but is just plain oak. Rome photographs or prints were the perfect Grand Tour souvenir, or as the prints were made in the USA possible something that a homesick italian of the 1880s might have used to decorate his home. The estimate is based on similar items sold at auction.
