beutifull plate
nothing
Hi ארז קמינסקי,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I need some additional information to complete the appraisal on your Wilhelm Schiller & Son Pottery plate.
What is the diameter?
Is the outer layer metal or just painted porcelain?
Many thanks in advance,
Delia
That is in centimeters?
I'll assume those dimensions are in centimeters and value accordingly; if they are in inches or mm, please let me know as that would affect the value.
I found the recent auction sale of a similar plate at auction and indicates the market for this kind of thing: https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/77108268_wilhelm-schiller-and-sons-large-majolica-wall-plate. It sold for $80 in November, 2019.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Wilhelm Schiller & Sons Majolica porcelain cabinet plate
Bodenbach, Bohemia, company in business from 1885-1914
Depicting the Roman Capitoleum, the back impressed "5295"
55 by 50 cm (21 1/2 by 19 1/2 inches)
PROVENANCE: acquired at auction
$100-150*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.

If it's another piece you have to create a separate appraisal inquiry. Same process as for this one. Thanks!
