Older Steiff(?) teddy bear
16 inch bear, fully jointed in arms, legs and neck. Black pupils, light brown/golden eyes, glass. Brown thread nose and mouth with vertical stitching. Light golden color, light colored felt feet and hand pads. 4 black thread toenails and fingernails. No ear tag of any kind. If you squeeze it it crinkles. Slight hump on the upper back. When I tap the back it makes noise, but not a real growl, more like a short groan. This was my moms. She was born in Switzerland in 1929. Recently deceased. Overall in very good condition. All joints work well.
Mothers bear. She was born in 1929 in Switzerland. I do not know exactly when she acquired it but I always remember it being around. I am 58 years old.
