TITLE:
Gentleman’s, tonneau-shaped, two time zone, water resistant, stainless steel aviator's manually wound, chronograph wristwatch with 4 hands and 3 crowns, and a stainless steel Omega link bracelet, Flightmaster model, ref. 145.026,
S/N 35584360, made by Omega, Geneva, Switzerland, circa early 1970s
DESCRIPTION:
CASE: 42mm diameter, two leaf, polished and brushed stainless steel, tonneau-shaped watch case with screwed down case back engraved with the Flightmaster logo of an airliner and the Omega logo of the horseshoe. There are two round polished steel chronograph pushers, flute crowns at 3 for time setting, crown between 8 and 9 for revolving minute ring, and between 10 and 11 for second time zone and hooded lugs with an integrated stainless steel Omega bracelet and fold over clasp. DIAL: Tricolored dial: anthracite, black and silver. The dial with luminous hour baton indices with luminous dots at the quarters, outer white checkerboard 1/5th second
scale and outermost revolving 60-minute ring for elapsed times, black subsidiary dials for the seconds @9, the 12-hour 6 and 30-minute @3 registers. Luminous white baton hands for the time functions, orange hands for the chronograph functions including the center seconds and a luminous blue hand for the second time zone. The dial is marked “Omega Flightmaster, T-Swiss Made-T”.
Movement: The Omega calibre 911, a manually wound, copper colored, 17 jewel, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator vibrating @ frequency of 21600 bph with a power reserve of 40 hours. This model made only in 1971, 1972. Dial, case and movement triple signed.
CONDITION:
Dial – Very good with small amount of speckling in the upper right quadrant.
Case – Good with modest scratches on back cover, scuffs on the broad brushed steel bezel.
Movement – very good to excellent, assume original to this case and functional.

PRICING:
This is a very collectible and uncommonly seen chronograph wristwatch with very consistent pricing. I believe the fair market value of your watch in today’s demanding market place would range from $2300-$2700, with retail prices at least twice that amount.
