This swiss made clock by Louis Brandt and Frere sits in a brass gimbaled assembly and solid brass base. 17 jewels, adjusted two positions. Dated to the early 1900's as far as I found.
This clock was found 6 years ago in a old burned barn in California.
Though gimbaled in a setting that implies this is a ship clock, your Omeage Watch Co clock with Swiss movement by Louis Brandt & Freres is actually an automobile dash clock that has been converted to a desk clock. A serial number on the movement is not showing nor mentioned here. The Omega auto clocks were prevalent in the 1930s and 1940s. These are collectible on the market. The estimate is based on actual past auction sales of comparables.
