I have 4 ordinal etchings by GB Piranesi. All info is the same as the first one that I sent you. However the first one has a crease and some slight stains the other 3 seem to be in good condition.

Hello Susannah
Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The item presented appears to be an etching by Giovanni Battista Piranesi (Italian, 1720 – 1778) titled "The so-called Grotto of Egeria (View of the source and caves of Egypt outside the Porta Capena)" from the series "Views of Rome," created during the mid-late 18th century. However, the "Piranesi F." inscribed to the lower margin denotes the print was printed by the artist's son, Francesco. Francesco preserved many of Piranesi's plates and continued to reprint them. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this work and other comparable etchings from the series. The estimate is contingent on a full condition report. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
