This is an original print not a reproduction of a Vanity Fair Cartoon lithograph. It was published in London, England in 1988. Named “hard head”. It comes with the original certificate of authenticity on the back and full description of the man photographed. It is also signed on the front.
It was owned by my grandparents who had traveled to London, England and purchased this piece. It has the original certificate of authenticity, frame and story of the man pictured intact.

The item presented appears to be chromolithograph by Leslie “Spy” Matthew Ward (English, 1851 – 1922) titled "Hard Head." The print was pulled from the weekly British magazine "Vanity Fair," 1888. The work was printed by Vincent, Brooks, Day & Son. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of this work and other comparable chromolithographs by Ward, published in "Vanity Fair" during the late 19th century.
