Artist first used the technique of painting over old paintings of his in 1983, Ixheim Germany to give his work a deep texture. The artist lived next door to what was once a prisoner of war encampment and didn't know it until one day painting the barn and chickens in the farm yard from his balcony. He saw two chicken sitting on the old barbed wire lines strong on old concert fence posts. He had painted several paintings of the farm and chickens before actually noticing the curved concert fence post were inward, meaning to keep prisoner's in. Only five of these paintings remain, one of roaster, the others of chickens on a barded fence and a barnyard with chickens and the prisioner of war concert posts. The artist move in 1986 from Ixheim Germany to Homburg Germany before moving to Nancy France before being stationed back to the States, Warren, Michigan where is became a member of the Warren Arts Association, he won the Grumbacker Gold Medal in 1990 and again in 1990, he also wrote over 100 books/short stories under various pen names and was included in 17 publications for his poetry under his full name - Frederick Lyle Morris. This artist exhibited at the Swann Gallery Detroit, The South Oak Land Gallery, The Port Hiron Gallery of Fine art, Warren City Hall, Detriot City Hall, and his work toured with Miss Sigon to benefit HIV, donated many works of art to MAPP Art Auctions 1990-1999 (Michigan Aids Prevention Program) and to the Edsel and Elenor Ford auctions to fight Aids. This painting is also listed on Fine Art American, American Artist Mag, Ebay, Beacham Arts and BAA - Bartlett Arts.
