Porcelain United coop farmers sign 15 to 16 pieces approximately 18' tall 12'wide. Vibrant colors and in good condition.
I salvaged it from a building I purchased a couple of years ago it was from a local grain farm. it's a one-of-a-kind very nice piece
This is an extra large, vintage early 20th century architectural salvage sign from a building that is done in porcelain enamel and features the logo for the United Co-Operative Farmers Inc. which was an animal feed manufacturer that was founded in Fitchburg, Massachusetts in 1927. Though a nice piece of American Farming history and fortuitous to have been salvaged from the building, the 18' x 12' size would make is challenging to find another willing buyer who would both desire this and have the space and means to display it. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
The sign has been up for about 85 years the second picture is actually from a book that was published about the history of Grain Mill. The grain mill was called United co-operative farmers, Inc..
