It belonged to the mother of a friend of mine who lived in New York. When she passed away I bought some of her furniture and a few of the paintings too.

The appraised item is a 20th-century oil painting of a European street. It measures 24 x 36 inches. It is signed on the lower right edge, "Rico". The condition is excellent, and it is housed in a gilt frame.
Unfortunately, after searching this artist, I am sorry to say that I could not find any similar artist's signature in our records. It seems that an obscure artist has executed the painting that you own.
Therefore, this is reflected in the estimate in red that appears above. The subject work's size and composition were also taken into consideration when determining these figures.
