The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil or acrylic paint on canvas with the measurements of 12 x 8 inches. This artwork depicts a still life with red grapes. The painting is signed Vinalet which could be identified as the Catalonian artist Manuel Vinalet. This motif stands in the tradition of the Spanish still life of the 17th century which mainly depicted motifs of poverty connected to Christological motifs in contrast to the rich and luxurious still lives of the Netherlands. It was made in the late 19th century.
Paintings of this artist were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market.
