Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a beautiful pair of Danish silver spoons. Such antique silver spoons are being offered at auction on a regular basis.
The spoons were made in Copenhagen in 1817 (the marks are 17 not 11) and by maker Niels Ebbesen who worked as a silversmith from 1812-1847. He was a wellknown and good quality silversmith. You fairly often see spoons like this at auctions in Denmark and the price is therefore fairly low given the age.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online silver auction, where I believe the silver spoons has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the Danish silver spoons. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I’m happy to help.
