These painted leather dolls were found in an antique shop in the Northwest US. I am unable to identify them. They are unmarked and Google Lens does not bring back any matching results online. They are both in very good condition. One has very slight loosening of stitches on its back. One of them is holding what appears to be a whip of some sort. Perhaps a jockey? Please let me know if you are able to identify these or if you need more photos.

Hi Stacey,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
These dolls are quite distinctive so I would have assumed if these were made in large quantities or even a smaller-production recognized pattern but I've come up dry. Would it be OK with you if I showed these photos to a doll specialist? It won't cost you additionally for the second opinion but could take longer to appraise than the 48-hour window we can usually appraise within.
Thanks to confirm at your convenience,
Delia
Yes, that would be fine! Thank you very much!
