Pastoral painting
This is a 28x38 painting with a 2.5” gold wood frame. An expert did some clean up work about 10 years ago to show how much brighter it could be. I don’t have any history on it other than it was passed down to my mother from her family.

The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil paint on canvas with the measurements of
28x38 inches. The painting depicts a landscape with trees and a shepherd with a herd of sheep. It is not signed and was probably made in the late 19th century or in the early 20th century.
This piece is in medium condition and there is a damage of the canvas visible.
An estimation would be between 200 to 400 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
