This appears to be a 1950s Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref.96 Silver Dial 18k yellow gold wristwatch, with gold pointed baton indexes, yellow gold dauphine hands. There should be a tiny gold hallmark which you might find when closely inspecting. This watch was retailed by Gübelin which is a highly respected jeweler, ranking in the same league as Tiffany´s. There are fakes around, but from what I can see it should be genuine. You will have to have it checked hands on by an experienced watch expert and try to get the paperwork from Patek Philippe.
