The image size is 10.25 inches W by 13.5 inches T. It is a print, on semi-glossy paper. Overall size including frame is 19T x 16W (inches). I bought this and two others (a Guinzac and an Axillette) in the 1970s from an elderly gentleman who was a world traveler. They were stored in a portfolio until 2005, when I had them framed. I apologize for the reflections off the nearby windows (they are on the north side of the house and they do not receive any direct light).
Unknown other than what I entered previously.
Hello Sarie,
Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with MeArto. The item presented appears to be a photogravure reproduction print after an oil painting by Paul Prosper Tillier (French, 1834 - 1915) titled "The Siesta at the Bath." Tillier was a well-known French Academic Classicism painter and exhibited at the Salon during the mid 1800s. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of reproduction prints after Tillier. Thank you and please take care.
