Dear Don, Greetings and thank you for taking the time to upload images of the carpet that you discovered at a storage auction. This is a very nice and usable piece with a classic pattern. Most are wool, some are silk and if yours has a light sheen to it (as it appears to from the images) you may have a wool/silk blend. At auction, I would expect a similar carpet to sell between $475 and $500.
