Basketball ball card in a clear case.
I’ve owned when I was younger
Hi Ted,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Trading card values can have broad value ranges based on grading; according to the PSA Authentic & Grading Services, the value of this card could range from $5,500 with a grade of EX-MT (Excellent-Mint) to $225,000 for a grade of MT (Mint) 9.
Its worth looking at this website to see where yours falls:
https://www.psacard.com/cardfacts/basketball-cards/1969-topps/lew-alcindor-25/3834
Because the vast majority of these cards ranges in grades 4-6, the value is MOST likely to be less than $5,500; however, if its truly in exceptional near-mint or mint condition, it could be worth high five-or low six-figures. If you are considering selling this, I would recommend Goldins Auction or Heritage Auction; I would stay away from eBay.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is
