An 18k Gold "Pink Sapphire" & Diamond Ring
mounted with a pale oval mixed-cut stone, stated to weigh approximately 6cts, applied with a cagework overlay set with a small brilliant-cut diamond, between open shoulders, shank stamped 18k and illegible makers marks.

I have valued it on the basis of being a genuine sapphire but I strongly recommend that the stone is tested at a gemmologist laboratory eg. GIA New York as it is possible that it is not in fact a natural pink sapphire but rather a synthetic pink spinel which looks very similar.
