Dear Doug,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the apprisal.
So that I may best assist you, can you please state the measurements and upload detailed and focused images of all hallmarks, numbers, and stamps on the metal parts of the weapon?
Thank you for your help.
With kind regards,
George
George - checking in to see if you got my messages. “hallmarks, numbers, and stamps” limited and provided. Size measured and correlates to main picture with ruler. Appraisal?
Hello,
I apologize again for the delay. This is a Colt New Line in .30 Rimfire made during their production run from 1874-1876. It was a popular personal defense gun in that era. This piece is in fair condition, with some damage to the nickel-plating, and corrosion forming where the nickel is flaking. The wood grips are in good condition. Given the condition of this piece, and completed auctions of similar items, a fair market estimation is 325-350 dollars. Please reach out with any questions.
Thank you,
Bo Stuck
Hello George,
Each main picture I sent has a ruler showing the size. What more do you need? For this gun it is ~15cm/5.75 inches long. Height is about 6.5cm/2.5 inches without the firing “pin”? As far as “hallmarks, numbers, and stamps” I gave you everything I see/have (pic#2 = barrel). These guns are old. Please confirm this is what you need before I submit the other gun info with your same “ask”. You can always call me EST – Doug: 404-307-893
Thanks,
Doug
