I believe it's oil on canvas but I don't know for sure. I was told it's by a Polish artist but I can not make out the name. That is all I know. Hoping you can tell me more.

Dear Gary Anderson,
This work is an oil painting on canvas by Stanislav Chimilinsky (Polish, born 1936). It measures 42 x 30 inches framed, and based on the photographs provided, appears to be in good condition with minor discoloration to the varnish. The composition depicts horse-drawn sleighs riding through a winter cityscape with a signature to the lower right.
This scene is typical of Chiliminsky's work, and most of his paintings are renditions of this composition. Research suggests that the cityscape depicted may be Krakow, Poland, and some of his other paintings locate this city in their titles. Chimilinsky studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and exhibited much of his work in Warsaw, Krakow, and Gdynia.
Chimilinsky has an extensive market record, and the repetitive nature of his compositions simplifies a value estimation. Looking at his market history from sales in 2009 to as recent as 2024, there is a stable increase in hammer prices of Chimilinsky's work. Considering these factors, we estimate the Fair Market Value of this painting between $500 and $1,000.
Thank you for your appraisal submission,
